Well-known manufacturing and marketing efforts were important in pushing the Chevrolet Astro Passenger to the top in 2003. The Astro Passenger's success in our country lies in its skill to accurately meet the expectations of consumers seeking a comfortable car that becomes the new watershed vehicle in bolder styling, and better highway gas mileage. Astro Passenger Overview
The Astro Passenger also comes with bolder styling, upgraded stereo and a sport-tuned suspension to keep it glued to the road. A four-speed automatic is optional. The gas mileage of this vehicle is far lower than what was stated on the sticker.
Redesigned Interior
Chevrolet has spent considerable time on just the seats in the Astro Passenger's luxury interior. Both the front and rear seats are comfortable and roomy, and the trunk has a generous 14.4 cubic foot capacity. Some options usually not found in this models include longer-lasting tires, improved sound system and a better winter handling system.
Fun or Flop on the Road?
Seating, while comfortable, tends to be a bit low making it difficult to see over the dash. Chevrolet says the chassis has been altered to give a smoother ride without adversely affecting handling. Thanks to increased wheel travel, the ride is smoother, and it's further enhanced with premium shock absorbers and rear sway bars. The brakes are strong and easy to modulate.
